Yates Racing says it will host its bi-annual Fan Appreciation Day on Oct. 15 at the NASCAR Sprint Cup team’s headquarters in Concord, N.C.

Fans can tour the Yates Racing campus and receive a VIP view of the shop. Autograph appearances from drivers Erik Darnell and Paul Menard and team co-owner Doug Yates will begin at 10:30 a.m.

“We had so much success from our first Fan Day this season that it was an easy decision to do it again for the fans,” Yates said. “Not only will the fans be able to meet the drivers and get their autograph, but they also get a chance to see behind-the-scenes of our No. 96 and No. 98 shops.”

One hundred fifty tickets will be distributed at 9:30 a.m. for the driver autograph session.

Mentioned Drivers: Erik Darnell

LTEN11: Your so right! Who wants to see Paul and Eric? I know I would line up to see Bobby. He has a huge fan base. Glad Bobby will not be there next year.

Good thing they are limiting it to 150 tickets...otherwise thousands may show up. The Bobcats may be the only thing less popular than Yates. Wonder who the fan (singular) is that they are appreciating?

I think I'll drive down from Richmond just to see Paul and Erik! I was disappointed the shop wasn't open during the All-Star weekend.
