Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Kellen Winslow has been named an honorary race official for the 51st annual Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway.
Winslow, a first-round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns recently acquired by the Buccaneers, will attend the driver’s meeting, participate in driver introductions and ride in one of the pace cars prior to the green flag.
Winslow, the son of National Football League Hall of Fame tight end Kellen Winslow Sr., was a tight end for the University of Miami, where he was a two-year starter with 119 catches for 1,365 yards and nine touchdowns in 38 games and won the John Mackey Award as the nation’s top tight end.
