Talladega Superspeedway says that for every $45 "'Dega Dollar" combo package purchased for the track's upcoming Sprint Cup weekend in April, fans will receive a reserved seat in the Lincoln or Gadsden grandstands for the Aaron’s 499 Cup race, plus 10 "‘Dega Dollars."
'Dega Dollars spend like cash at all Americrown concession stands at the track, which recently announced the addition of Americrown combo meals that save fans up to 25 percent.
The newest program offers savings of approximately 45 percent from previous years, when a similar package could cost up to $85.
“Race fans are facing tough times with the economy,” said Talladega Superspeedway President Rick Humphrey. “We have worked hard to create ticket packages that not only save guests money but also enhance their race experience. With deals like our ‘Best Deal in 40 Years’ and now ‘Dega Dollars, race fans have the ability to bring their family to the race, feed them and enjoy an action-packed day at NASCAR’s most competitive track.”
‘Dega Dollar packages are available by calling (877) Go2-DEGA or visiting the track's Web site at www.talladegasuperspeedway.com.

Mar 10, 2009 at 4:47 PMI agree with Werner. We get tickets in advance each year and are the loyal fans who have been coming to Talladega races since the early 90's. Where is our "stimulus" package??

Mar 10, 2009 at 6:24 PMWhat a great step Dega is taking for the fans. I realize that pre bought ticket holders have some questions and issues, but never the less I applaud Dega. My question is why the h*^^ don't they do something about Bristol. Lower prices, mine went up. And they force you to buy both years events as season ticket holders. Split them like Martinsville does or you going to lose a lot more fans next year than this year. Bruton's to da** cheap to do anything for his patrons.
