TNT says Bill Weber won't be part of network's last two Cup races

Bill Weber will not be part of TNT's coverage of its last two NASCAR Sprint Cup races this season, according to a statement issued by a spokesperson from the network’s parent company, Turner Sports.
Ralph Sheheen, who replaced Weber during the coverage of last Sunday’s race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, will handle play-by-play duties for Saturday night’s Coke Zero 400 at Daytona and the LifeLock.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway on the following weekend.
Sheheen will be calling the races alongside regular analysts Kyle Petty and Wally Dallenbach in the booth.

Personally, I like TNT better than the Hee Haw Twins (Larry & DW) any day in the booth. As suggested, the return of Allen Beswick would be a great addition to Kyle & Wally. In fairness to Larry Mac, he is more tolerable for the short segments they fill in with him on TNT but his lack of 3rd grade grammar skills just drives me up a wall. There's just no excuse for that.

I don't enjoy Jimmy Spencer's commentary at all! Rusty Wallace washed out announcing in the IRL and he's not any easier to listen to in NASCAR. I've grown tired of Jeff Hammond's contributions. Krista Voda, Jamie Little, and Wendy V. all know what they're doing and are easy on the eyes. Ned Jarrett and Benny Parsons were special with there knowledge of the sport and professional delivery. It'd be impossible to build a team where every member is loved by all the fans, but when there are as many broadcasters as listed on this page that get way more negative comments than favorable one's NASCAR and the networks need to try to change the chemistry. The endless switching around of networks should be eliminated, too! The long prerace programs can go away, too! I don't tune in until time for the green flag. The economy has caused live attendance to drop, but tv ratings are down for reasons other than the car of today. I watch Direct TV's HotPass in-car and listen to the driver and the show continues during commercials. For regular network viewers why don't they do the split-screen during commercials like the IRL? Don't look for any attempt to improve broadcasts anytime soon.
