The Starbucks coffee chain will make its NASCAR debut this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway with Earnhardt Ganassi Racing.

Starbucks will serve as an associate sponsor on EGR’s No. 1 Sprint Cup Chevrolet driven by Martin Truex Jr., and samples of the company’s products will be available throughout the weekend.

Beginning Nov. 13, a fleet of Starbucks-branded golf carts will comb the track property passing samples out of Starbucks VIA Ready Brew, a new instant coffee.

Financial terms of the sponsorship were not disclosed.

Mentioned Drivers: Martin Truex Jr.

Associate sponsorship? So you'll see their logo on the car and some golf carts.

Maybe this is a prep for Jamie McMurray if he gets that ride? He'd fit the bill better than he would for Bass Pro Shops.

Should Starbucks insist they follow the corporate guidelines, they will probably require at least 4 pit boxes adjacent to each other.

I work for Starbucks and the first I worked at was in an office building. The funniest part of my day was when I would get off of work, leave the building, and look at the Starbucks that was right across the street and knowing we have literally 10 other Starbucks within a 4 block radius.
