Seven NASCAR drivers to compete in Snowball Derby
Several NASCAR drivers are entered in this weekend’s Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Fla., including Sprint Cup race winner Kyle Busch.
The Snowball Derby is a 300-lap Super Late Model race at the half-mile track.
Others with NASCAR connections entered in the Derby are Nationwide and Camping World driver Brian Ickler, Nationwide drivers James Buescher and Steve Wallace and Truck drivers Ryan and Shane Sieg.
Also entered is David Stremme, who was recently released from his Penske Racing Cup ride.
Ross Kenseth, son of Cup driver Matt Kenseth, and Chase Elliott, son of Cup driver Bill Elliott, are also entered.
In addition to Saturday’s Snowball Derby, the track is hosting the Snowflake 100 Pro Late Model race on Friday night. Busch and Elliott are entered in that race as well, as is Nationwide driver John Wes Townley.
Ryan Blaney, son of Cup driver Dave Blaney, is also in the Snowflake 100.
