Gillett Evernham's Rodney Childers heads home to be with wife

TALLADEGA, Ala. - Gillett Evernham Motorsports engineer Kevin Kidd will serve as crew chief today for Elliott Sadler during the Amp Energy 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.
Crew chief Rodney Childers left Talladega on Friday to be with his wife for the birth of their twins in North Carolina.
