Petty Enterprises announced Saturday that TheGPSStore.com and Garmin will serve as associate sponsors for Chad McCumbee for next week's NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway.
The companies are continuing longstanding associations with McCumbee. The GPS Store.com, headquartered near McCumbee’s hometown of Supply, N.C., was a primary sponsor on McCumbee's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series entry in 2006 and 2007.
“Petty Enterprises is excited to continue Chad’s relationships with TheGPSStore.com and Garmin onto the No. 45 Dodge,” Petty Enterprises CMO Mike Bartelli said. “They share in our belief that Chad has a bright future in this sport and have shown a commitment to him."
The Richard Petty Driving Experience, owned by Petty Enterprises, will adorn the hood of the car.
