Nov 16, 2009 at 2:18 PMWell did you ever see a more boring race than yesterday? NASCAR has painted themselves into a corner. How is it possible for one driver to be that much better than everyone else? To drive away at every restart? How? I know JJ is a great driver, but that much better than ALL the rest? I don't buy it. Congrats to him though, as far as I am concerned they should have just handed him the Champ trophy yesterday. I know people that have completely lost interest. Fans of people like Harvick, Newman, Truex...that feel like it's all over. Parity? What's that?

Nov 16, 2009 at 4:31 PMThat was the absolute worse race in Sprint Chase history. Boring and so boring I dozed off a couple of times just to wake up to hear then talking about jimmie johnson. So disgusting that I did not even realized for a while I had dozed. I am like some of the others about the crazy yellow flags for imaginary debris. Give us a break here. Thank God, its almost over! YEA!!

Nov 17, 2009 at 1:58 AMAnd the funny thing is Nascar can't figure out why the ratings are down or the grandstands are empty. I don't know about you all but I'm really tired of Johson. He's a boring pretty boy who is obviously Nascar's favorite. Why not just give him the trophy before the season and let everyone race for another one. Same stuff different day.

Nov 17, 2009 at 9:48 AMThe poll now should also give the option of "all of the above". Vanilla Johnson is boring, the new car is so finicky and NASCAR is "over the top" with rules. For the most part TV follows whoever is running 1-3 and you miss alot of the racing back in the pack.

Nov 17, 2009 at 12:17 PMThe racing is the best and most exciting it's ever been and the COT is perfect. Just ask France, Helton, Jimmy Spencer and Michael Waltrip.Nascar was very upset with the ESPN guys, for misleading us fans into believing Talledega was boring. So it has to be us, we just aren't as smart as the above mentioned.

Nov 19, 2009 at 4:56 AMBrain France and Mike Helton need to listen to the fans. The two main reasons that the ratings are down are the Chase, and the COT. How can any of us get excited about JJ winning 4 in a row, especially when the win comes courtesy of a unfair and idiotic points system, and a car that seems to favor certain drivers more than others. The only way to stop the bleeding is to ditch the points system and work on making the COT easier to drive for all teams out there.
