Ryan Newman will soon become a larger part of Daytona International Speedway history.
During the Sprint Cup Series' Coke Zero 400 weekend, Newman will have a 3x3 cement block with his signature, hand prints and right-foot print placed into the Daytona 500 Champion’s Walk of Fame.
Newman, the winner of the 50th running of the Daytona 500 earlier this year, already made the cement prints during his postrace victory-lane celebration.
The ceremony will be held on July 4, one day before the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona.
Since 1996, the first year of The Daytona 500 Experience, Daytona 500 champions have had their likeness added to the walk of fame.
