NASCAR announced the dates of its three national series’ awards shows Friday, including the Sprint Cup Series’ return to the Waldorf=Astoria in New York City.
The banquets begin Nov. 17 – the day after the Sprint Cup season ends – with the Craftsman Truck Series ceremony at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Fla.
Five days later, on Nov. 22, the Nationwide Series holds its banquet at the Portofino Bay Hotel in Orlando, Fla.
Finally, the Sprint Cup Awards Ceremony will be held at the Waldorf’s Grand Ballroom on Dec. 5.
The lineup is a change from past seasons, when the Nationwide banquet was the finale.
