CONCORD, N.C. - Dale Earnhardt Inc.'s Mark Martin led the final practice Friday for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
Martin turned a top lap of 181.751 mph. Joe Gibbs Racing's Kyle Busch was second fastest with a lap of 181.714. Roush Fenway Racing's Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards and Richard Childress Racing's Kevin Harvick rounded out the top five.
Penske Racing's Ryan Newman, Petty Enterprises' Bobby Labonte, Hendrick Motorsports' Jimmie Johnson, RCR's Clint Bowyer and Roush Fenway's Matt Kenseth followed. A total of 21 drivers are already locked into Saturday night's all-star race.
Qualifying for the event is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. EDT Friday with the actual race slated for Saturday at 9 p.m.
