HAMPTON, Ga. – Hendrick Motorsports driver Mark Martin posted the fastest lap during the final NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice session at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Martin, who qualified fourth, ran a fast lap of 185.524 mph. Polesitter Dale Earnhardt Jr. (Hendrick Motorsports) was second with a lap of 185.517 mph.

Martin Truex Jr. (Michael Waltrip Racing), Paul Menard (Richard Petty Motorsports) and David Ragan (Roush Fenway Racing) rounded out the top five.

Greg Biffle (Roush Fenway Racing) damaged his car after he drifted wide at the exit of Turn 4 and bounced off the wall early in the session.
