Juan Pablo Montoya finishes third at Martinsville but can't gain ground in Chase

MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Earnhardt Ganassi Racing driver Juan Pablo Montoya seemed unfazed by the controversy surrounding an on-air remark made by ESPN college football commentator Bob Griese Saturday. Griese has apologized for the comment he made during a college football game.

Griese was asked where Montoya was in the standings and remarked the Bogota, Colombia native "was out having a taco." He later apologized during that telecast then phoned in an apology during the telecast of a later game.

Asked about the issue after finishing third in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Tums Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway, Montoya seemed unconcerned.

"Somebody mentioned it to me," he said. "I don't really care, to tell you the truth. Yeah, I don't. I could say I spent the last three hours eating tacos, but I was actually driving a car. But that's okay, I don't care."
