SONOMA, Calif. – Joe Gibbs Racing’s Joey Logano was spun while leading on the final lap of the NASCAR Camping World West Series Bennett Lane Winery 200 on Saturday afternoon at Infineon Raceway.

The driver who tapped him, Patrick Long, was penalized and scored at the tail end of the lead lap, with Jason Bowles inheriting the win.

Logano finished 17th.

Two other Cup drivers were in the field: Boris Said (EM Motorsports in Cup) finished fourth and David Gilliland (TRG Motorsports) finished 31st.

I bet Peyton Sellers WAS laughing his (ears) off. But remember Joey saw Hornaday do the same stuff earlier that night so he prolly thought it was the way to do things. Re-start Ron should've been parked for that move and then the rest of the field would've know that's not how you race.

Good deal! Let the regulars in the other series win the prize money from the Cup drivers!! They don't have motohomes, helicopters, privat planes, etc......

Exactly. I don't care if they compete, but they are racing against the little guys who want to win in their own Series. Who can blame them if they want to win? I always love it when a regular wins. Not a Cup driver playing with the minor leagues. BTW, Hornaday was in Milwaukee, not in Sonoma.

Hope how soon Joey gets more aggressive!!!! He will get run over more often, if he doesn't stand up to the bullies.
