Jimmie Johnson’s No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports crew won the Tissot Pit Road Precision Award for Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The award was the second of the season for the No. 48 team, which also won at Bristol Motor Speedway earlier this year, and moved the crew to third place in the season-long standings. Jeff Gordon’s No. 24 Hendrick crew and Greg Biffle’s No. 16 Roush Fenway Racing crew are tied for the lead with three wins each.

Johnson’s car spent the least amount of time on pit road – 136.490 seconds – during New Hampshire’s rain-shortened event.

"As always, the pit crew did a great job on pit road last weekend,” crew chief Chad Knaus. “[Pit-crew coach] Greg [Morin] and the guys work hard week in and week out to be one of the best teams on pit road, and it's nice when they're recognized for their work and dedication."

The No. 48 crew will collect $5,000 for the pit road win. The team with the most Tissot Pit Road Precision Award wins at the completion of the season will receive a $100,000 bonus, plus Tissot watches for the crew and driver.
