The Jamie McMurray Foundation has begun selling branded T-shirts and hats on its Web site and is offering a chance to make donations and possibly win a signed No. 26 diecast model.
“Over the last year, the Jamie McMurray Foundation has come a really long way,” said McMurray, who competes in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for Roush Fenway Racing. “I’m really excited about the way the shirts and hats turned out. I remember when it was raining in Watkins Glen, we sat on the motor coach and came up with a pretty simple but cool design for the T-shirts.”
To kick off the donation site, the foundation is launching a “donate for diecast” contest. Each donation of $1 or more made over the course of the next three weeks will be entered into a drawing for a signed No. 26 diecast. The diecast will be sent to the winning fan, along with a signed letter from McMurray.
The foundation, which was formed in May 2006, has provided more than $200,000 to Autism Speaks and other autistic organiations throughout the United States.
Contest details are available at www.jamiemcmurray.com/foundation/.
