Hendrick Motorsports' Jimmie Johnson leads lone all-star practice at Lowe's

CONCORD, N.C. - Hendrick Motorsports' Jimmie Johnson led Friday’s lone practice session for Saturday’s NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
Johnson posted a best lap of 183.393 mph. Joe Gibbs Racing's Kyle Busch was second at 182.192 mph. Hendrick Motorsports Mark Martin, Richard Childress Racing's Jeff Burton and Hendrick's Jeff Gordon rounded out the top five.
Roush Fenway Racing's Greg Biffle, RCR's Kevin Harvick, Joe Gibbs Racing's Denny Hamlin, Stewart-Haas Racing's Tony Stewart and teammate Ryan Newman followed.
Qualifying for the all-star race is scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m. EDT today. The session requires three laps with a pit stop requiring a four-tire change.
The race is scheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday.
