Robby Gordon will carry sponsorship from Monster Energy, a primary sponsor of his off-road racing programs, on his No. 7 NASCAR Sprint Cup Dodge for Sunday's Pepsi 500 at Auto Club Speedway.

“I am happy to have Monster Energy on the Cup side this weekend,” said Gordon, who also owns the Robby Gordon Motorsports team. “We have a great relationship with them on the off-road side, and it’s awesome to have them back again on the No. 7. Last year, they were on the car at Infineon, and we gave them a pretty good show. Hopefully, this weekend we can give them a better result.”

Financial terms of the sponsorship were not disclosed.

I love to see single car teams attract sponsors. It looks as though they will be a thing of the past pretty soon. Good Luck Robby.

I to love to see small teams get big sponsors, I do think Monster Energy should be giving Robby more sponsorship coverage then what they have been. For what he (Robby) has done with them on his trucks in Baja 500, 1000, and Dakar. Robby can get in anything and win. He just needs some support. Plus when he does win again it would be great to have Monster on the hood to through it in Red Bull's face!
