Furniture Row Racing parts ways with Cup crew chief Jay Guy
Furniture Row Racing and crew chief Jay Guy have mutually agreed to part ways, according to a team release.
"We wish Jay all the best," team general manager Joe Garone said in the news release. "He is a good friend who worked hard to help bring us to where we are at. Jay was a true asset to our organization the past three years, and we support him with his new opportunity."
Furniture Row is planning to run the full NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule in 2010 after running a limited schedule this season.
"The future is exciting at Furniture Row Racing," Garone said. "We are continuing to expand our resources to run a full schedule next year and are on the right track towards giving our driver Regan Smith the best tools possible to race competitively on a weekly basis."
