Fox overnight ratings for Darlington race up 7.5 percent

Fox's broadcast of Saturday night's Dodge Challenger 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Darlington Raceway earned an overnight Nielsen Media Research rating of 4.3 and an 8 market share, Street & Smith's SportsBusiness Daily reports.
The rating is 7.5 percent higher than the 4.0 the race earned overnight in 2007, when it had an 11 market share.

May 13, 2008 at 7:26 AMMaybe the media and NASCAR should be less happy about TV ratings being up...Are these people who WOULD HAVE DROVE THERE but for the price of gas? Have you priced airfare in the last few weeks? The price of oil is showing effects.
