Penske Racing will host its annual Fan Appreciation Day on Oct. 16 at the NASCAR Sprint Cup team’s headquarters in Mooresville, N.C.
Cup series drivers Kurt Busch, Sam Hornish Jr. and David Stremme will attend, along with Nationwide Series rookie Justin Allgaier and Penske Racing development driver Parker Kligerman of the ARCA Re/Max Series.
Penske Racing IndyCar drivers Helio Castroneves, Ryan Briscoe and Will Power will also be on hand, along with four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Rick Mears.
The event will include autograph and question-and-answer sessions with all of the drivers and feature displays of Penske race cars and race-winning trophies.
The nearly 425,000-square foot shop is located at 200 Penske Way in Mooresville.
“Fan Appreciation Day gives Penske Racing the opportunity to thank our fans for all their support this season,” said Jonathan Gibson, vice president of marketing for Penske Racing. “We’ve got some special surprises planned, and with a terrific lineup of drivers in attendance and behind-the-scenes access to the facility, this promises to be a special day for Penske Racing fans.”
