Darian Grubb, crew chief for the No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing entry of driver Tony Stewart, has been named the Wypall Wipers Crew Chief of the Race for Saturday night's Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway.

Stewart, who is also the team co-owner, won the race.

"The pit crew did an incredible job," Grubb said after the race. "They did everything we asked them to do for adjustments and did not miss a beat the entire night."

The team started from the pole position after qualifying was rained out and the field was set by the NASCAR rule book, giving Stewart the first choice of pit stalls.

"We had great pit stops all night," Stewart said. "We came in with the lead and came out with the lead every time. I was really proud of how well our car drove. Darian and all these guys did a great job of giving us a great Burger King Chevy that gave us a chance to run up front all day."

Bob Osborne, crew chief for Carl Edwards' Roush Fenway Racing team, Todd Berrier, crew chief for Casey Mears' Richard Childress Racing team and Fox/Speed analyst Jeff Hammond, along with representatives from the sponsor, serve as the panel for the challenge. In addition to the $1,000 check, the winning crew chief will receive signage to announce the win on his pit box the following week. The crew chief with the most weekly wins will be honored as the Wypall Wipers Crew Chief of the Year and will be presented a $20,000 check at the season finale in Homestead, Fla.
