Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s foundation will host a series of concerts to raise money for a group of charities it supports.

The Dale Jr. Foundation has announced the series of October concerts at Earnhardt Jr.’s Whisky River bar in Charlotte. The "Rockin' The River" series will feature singers Gavin DeGraw, Blake Shelton, Jessie James, The Carter Twins, Phil Vassar and Rehab.

All proceeds from the concerts will benefit The Dale Jr. Foundation and its associated charities, including Make-A-Wish Foundation and Victory Junction Gang Camp.

Concert tickets will be sold for each individual event along with a limited number of Super Tickets that include all five events for only $75. Information is available at http://whiskyriver.tickets.musictoday.com.

James and The Carter Twins will kick off the five-part series on Oct. 1. Rehab will be the headlining act on Oct. 8. Gavin DeGraw will hit the stage on Oct. 15 in a Charlotte race-week performance. The Oct. 22 evening will begin with a live taping of QVC’s “For Race Fans Only,” a home-shopping program featuring NASCAR merchandise. Earnhardt Jr. will appear live on the show, which be followed by a live concert by Shelton. The series will conclude with an Oct. 29 performance by country singer Phil Vassar.

“We are always looking for new ways to help raise money for my foundation, and this concert series is something the fans and I can really get excited about,” Earnhardt Jr. said. “We’ve got some really good acts coming in, and I appreciate them joining our effort to help those less fortunate. The Dale Jr. Foundation contributes to a number of charities, including Make-A-Wish Foundation and Victory Junction Gang. We want to make a difference, and by purchasing a ticket and joining us at the Rockin’ The River Concert Series in October, you can, too.”
