Dale Earnhardt Inc. officials will pay tribute to seven-time NASCAR Cup champion Dale Earnhardt, singer Johnny Cash and actor John Wayne at the company's Mooresville, N.C., headquarters during the NASCAR Sprint Cup weekend at Lowe's Motor Speedway, as well as offer autograph sessions with the organization's drivers.

The “Dale and The Duke” show car as well as other displays will honor the three Americans.

The event begins Oct. 10, with DEI drivers Martin Truex Jr., Paul Menard, Aric Almirola and Regan Smith signing autographs.

Developmental drivers Jeffery Earnhardt (the late Dale Earnhardt's grandson), Trevor Bayne and Jesus Hernandez, as well as Kerry Earnhardt (Dale Earnhardt's son), will be on hand that afternoon to visit and talk with fans, as well as be available for autographs. Taylor Earnhardt, daughter of Dale and Teresa Earnhardt, will also be on hand representing the DEI equestrian division and will be available for photos and autographs.

The morning autograph session will begin at 10 and be available to the first 300 fans in line to get a wristband, with those being available as of 8 a.m. The afternoon session will take place from 2 to 3 and will be open to everyone in attendance.

The Dale Earnhardt Foundation, will continue its book drive and will have the Dale Tribute Trailer on hand to accept new and slightly used books that will go to the Center of Hope Shelter in Charlotte. The Dale Earnhardt Foundation will also have hourly raffle drawings.

Fans in attendance may purchase a ticket for $10 for a chance to win DEI-raced sheet metal and one fan and friends will win lunch for four on in DEI’s Trophy Room.

Fan giveaways and a Dale Earnhardt limited edition item will be available for a contribution to The Dale Earnhardt Foundation. There will also be a trivia contest for children.

In the event of a track rescheduling conflict because of weather during any Bank of America 500 race activities, the morning autograph session may be canceled.

Good Grief! How long is Theresa going to milk Dale Sr.'s legacy? Selling more made up merchandise that has nothing to do with Dale Sr.'s racing career.. She got greedy in not making a deal with Dale Jr. and now she has 1 good driver left with 1 sponsor for what was a 4 car team... The company will be the lucky to make it through half of 2009.
