NASCAR has fined Donnie Wingo, crew chief of the No. 41 Chip Ganassi Racing car driven by Reed Sorenson, $25,000 for a violation during last Sunday's Sprint Cup race at Michigan International Speedway.

Sorenson's Dodge was found to have an improperly attached weight.

The team has the right to appeal.

    Did it weigh as much as a magnet? Cheating is cheating as everyone says. I guess it depends on the team.
