The NASCAR Collector Memorabilia Show presented by the Racing Collectables Club of America will take place Saturday at the Embassy Suites down the street from Lowe’s Motor Speedway prior to the Sprint All-Star Race.
It will bring collectors from all across the country together to buy, sell, trade and display everything from die-cast and trading cards to sheet metaland race-worn tires. The Motorsports Authentics event runs from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to the public.
It costs $10 but a free ticket can be printed at goracing.com. Kasey Kahne will do a question-and-answer session at 1:45 p.m. EDT followed by Rusty Wallace at 3 p.m. as part of a program that also includes appearances by Lowe’s Motor Speedway President H.A. “Humpy” Wheeler (9:30 a.m.); and Junior Johnson and Terry Labonte (10:15 a.m.).
NASCAR Collector radio show hosts Mike Storms, Buzz McKim, Tim Trout and Howard Hitchcock will do their show live from the show from 7-9 a.m., while Speed will broadcast live from the event from 8-9 a.m.
