Kyle Busch demonstrates his burnout style after Saturday night's win at Darlington Raceway.

CONCORD, N.C.Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Greg Biffle were in Sprint Cup cars at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on Monday night, but none of those drivers completed a lap.

The three were practicing burnouts on the track’s frontstretch in preparation for Saturday’s Pennzoil Victory Challenge before the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.

Clint Bowyer and Jimmie Johnson are also expected in the competition, but they were not at practice Monday. Busch, Harvick and Biffle were at the track for Nationwide Series testing.

None of the three drove his own car, as Biffle and Busch were in a No. 48 Chevrolet from the Richard Petty Driving Experience, and Harvick was in a No. 9 Dodge.

“How’d I do?” Harvick asked Biffle after he did his burnouts and doughnuts.

“Looks good,” Biffle told him.

Harvick had Kevin Harvick Inc. crew chief Wally Rogers in the car with him for the burnouts, and Rogers saluted a few members of the KHI crew who were watching as Harvick drove on pit road.

Bowyer practiced his burnouts during a press conference April 30 announcing the competition. Johnson has not practiced.
