Brickyard ratings drop 13 percent; Nationwide ratings improve 21 percent

Ratings for the Brickyard 400 dropped 13 percent while ratings for the Nationwide Series Kroger 200 improved 21 percent, ESPN announced Tuesday.
The Sprint Cup race from Indianapolis Motor Speedway drew a 4.2 rating (5,709,103 viewers), which was lower than the 4.8 rating that ESPN garnered last year for the live telecast.
The Nationwide race, telecast on ESPN from O’Reilly Raceway Park, improved from a 1.4 in 2009 to a 1.7 in 2010.
