Gillett Evernham Motorsports announced Wednesday that Berlin City Auto Group will sponsor Patrick Carpentier’s No. 10 Dodge in the Sept. 14 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

Carpentier, who has a partial primary sponsorship from Valvoline this season, was also sponsored by Berlin City when he claimed his first career pole at New Hampshire in June.

“Winning that pole was a lot of fun,” said Carpentier, who is a free agent for next season, although he could return to GEM if sponsorship is found.. “Berlin City Auto Group is a local company, so they were pretty excited by all the exposure. Hopefully, we can qualify just as well this time, lead some laps and get a better finish. I feel so much better going to New Hampshire this time. I think seeing these tracks a second time will be a big advantage.”

It would be a real shame to loose Patrick. He has brought a breath of fresh air to nascar. I love to listen to him talk and he has a great smile always seems so up beat. I sure hope GHM keeps him we need a driver like him in the sport.
