Allstate will not return as sponsor of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway next year, Allstate officials confirmed in a statement Tuesday.

Allstate sponsored the 400-mile race at Indy the last five years.

“We have been very pleased with our partnership with Indianapolis Motor Speedway as title sponsor of the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard the last five years,” said Pam Hollander, director of sponsorships, promotions and public relations. “IMS has been a tremendous partner, and we thank them for giving us the opportunity to be a part of one of the most prestigious races in motorsports."

Hollander said the decision to pull its sponsorship of the race was because of a shift in the company’s marketing objectives.

“We continuously evaluate all of our sponsorships,” Hollander said. “Currently, we are focusing our marketing efforts around other sponsorships we have across the sports landscape, including college football and the United States Olympic Committee.”
