7 reasons to watch the Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono: No. 1 - Tony Stewart

Since the two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at Pocono Raceway are so close together on the calendar, it’s often fun to watch drivers who did well in the first race and see if they can repeat their performance.
Surprisingly, there haven’t been many sweeps of the two races in a given year, which seems odd given their close proximity in time. The last guy to do it was Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin, and that he did it as a rookie is even more unbelievable.
Jimmie Johnson did it 2004, and Bobby Labonte did it in 1999. Only three times in the past 22 years has a driver swept both races.
So good luck, Tony Stewart. We’ll see if you can sweep this time.
