7 reasons to watch the Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway: No. 1 - Jeff Gordon

Watch to see if Jeff Gordon can duplicate his success from the spring race at Texas Motor Speedway.

Prior to winning the Samsung 500 in April, Gordon had gone 16 NASCAR Sprint Cup races without a victory at the fast 1.5-mile track in Fort Worth. With just three races remaining before a champion is crowned at Homestead -  the only track on the Sprint Cup Series schedule Gordon has yet win on in his legendary career - a victory at Texas could help Gordon stay within shouting distance of a fifth Cup title.
