CONCORD, N.C. – Fifty cars are entered for testing today and Tuesday at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, with teams hoping to learn more about NASCAR’s new race car on a 1.5-mile track.

Teams are allowed to run in four of the six scheduled sessions. There are three sessions each day – 9 a.m. to noon, 1 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. EDT each day.

The 45 full-time teams are entered for the test as well as a fourth Penske Racing car with David Stremme (No. 06), a fourth Richard Childress Racing car with Scott Wimmer (No. 33), the No. 50 Ski Motorsports car with Stanton Barrett, the No. 47 JTG Racing car with Marcos Ambrose and the No. 08 EM Motorsports car likely with Tony Raines.

Testing the No. 70 today is Brad Keselowski, while Johnny Sauter will test for the team Tuesday. Ken Schrader will drive for the team at Darlington, said team competition director Matt Borland.
