CALIFORNIA SPEEDWAY announced that Sony Electronics Inc. will be the title sponsor of its 500-mile Nextel Cup event Sept. 4. The multi-year sponsorship agreement for the Labor Day weekend event - the Sony HD 500 - is being finalized.

Geoffrey Bodine's Bo-Dyn Bobsled Project will organize a bobsled race with 10 Nextel Cup and Busch Series drivers Jan. 5-9 in Lake Placid, N.Y. The event is designed to raise money for the Bobsled project for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

HOME DEPOT has signed a four-year deal with International Speed-way Corp., making it the official home improvement retailer of the 11 motorsports facilities owned or operated by ISC.

FITZBRADSHAW RACING has been certified as a minority-owned business by the Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council. The designation allows the team to be eligible for companies' diversity designated marketing funds.

TEAM RENSI MOTORSPORTS, with drivers Jason Keller and Ashton Lewis, has formed a relationship with the Children's Organ Transplant Association. The team will pass out donation cards at tracks and do other promotions to encourage organ donors.

TRIJICON, a maker of self-luminous sights and scopes, has signed a multi-year agreement with Team Rensi Motorsports to serve as an associate sponsor on the No. 25 car driven by Ashton Lewis.

Budweiser has signed an agreement to be the official beer of Watkins Glen International through the 2006 season.

AARON RENTS, INC. has announced support of the Victory Junction Gang Camp. Aaron's employees and stores have contributed more than $100,000 to the camp.

Electric Aquagenics Unlimited Inc. has signed a business partnership with Robby Gordon Motorsports.

FREEDOMROADS, the largest recreational vehicle retailer in the United States, sponsored the No. 22 ppc Racing Ford race team with driver Kenny Wallace at Pikes Peak.

KENNY WALLACE will be the opening day breakfast speaker for this year's PRI Trade Show, scheduled for Dec. 1-3 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. For more information, call (949) 499-5413.
