General Discussion » Can Tony Jr do for Brad what he couldn't do for Dale?
There weren't that many bad calls on timing and pitstops.
Robert Yates Racing has parted ways with crew chiefs Tommy Baldwin and Richard "Slugger" Labbe, according to a team spokesperson.
Labbe will replaced by Butch Hylton as the crew chief for the No. 88 car and Dale Jarrett on an interim basis, according to a release from the team. It was unclear who would be the crew chief for the No. 38 and Elliott Sadler.
Baldwin is likely to return to Bill Davis Racing, where he was a crew chief from 1998 to 2002 as a team manager, according to people familiar with the situation.
Both Jarrett and Sadler are leaving at the end of the season. Clay Andrews Racing driver David Gilliland and RYR development driver Stephen Leicht are among candidates to replace them.
The RYR teams have struggled this year, with Sadler sitting 20th in the standings and Jarrett mired in 25th.
