Learning curve
Juan Pablo Montoya jokes that his trips to races will become much easier when he begins his foray into NASCAR. Traveling from his Miami home to Bristol, Pocono and Fontana, Calif., will still be much shorter trips than traveling to Europe for Formula One events.
But while the trips might get shorter, his time at the track might seem like a grueling journey.
Sure, the 30-year-old Colombian is considered one of the world's best drivers. But he has never driven a stock car, except for a publicity stunt on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.
