WEST ALLIS, Wis. – Craftsman Truck Series regular Colin Braun was supposed to drive in only two Nationwide Series races this year, but he had three events added to his schedule.
In addition to the Camping World RV Rental 250 Saturday night at The Milwaukee Mile, Braun said he was going to drive Roush Fenway Racing’s No. 16 Ford at Daytona and at O’Reilly Raceway Park.
“I’m not really sure why Jack decided to do that,” Braun said. “I don’t know if he was in a good mood that day or what. I’m certainly happy to have those races added. … It’s really cool for me to get a chance to go and do these [truck and Nationwide] races that are on the same weekend. That’s just a big help. Being a rookie and all, it’s a huge help to come back the next night and get a chance to run.”
Braun has made three Nationwide starts this season, winning the pole in Mexico City and posting a best finish of 15th in Nashville.
