MONTREAL – Brad Keselowski remained noncommittal this weekend at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on his future in NASCAR, though he did say an announcement on his plans will come “shortly.”

Keselowski, a full-time Nationwide Series driver for JR Motorsports and a part-time Sprint Cup driver for Hendrick Motorsports and Phoenix Racing, is rumored to be joining Penske Racing in 2010 – perhaps running both series full time for the team.

Asked Saturday if anything was signed for 2010, Keselowski said, “I’ve got nothing at this point to announce. That will change shortly. We’ll be figuring that out and y’all can come join me.”

What does shortly mean? Keselowski wouldn’t say.

“Oh, wow, you want me to pinpoint,” Keselowski said. “Sorry, I can’t pinpoint.”

Keselowski has said he wanted to drive full time in both series, and those plans remain in place.

“I’m confident that I will run full time in both series next season,” he said.

If he joins Penske, he could be a teammate to Justin Allgaier in the Nationwide Series. Allgaier said Saturday he told Penske officials he didn’t want to know about the team’s plans until they were official.

“That’s the best way to do it,” Allgaier said. “If it is true and Brad does come over, that’s great, and I wish him all the best. Whether he goes to our organization or somewhere else, I wish him all the best.

“If he does come over, he’s somebody who is my age. We grew up a lot in the same atmosphere, racing ourselves, doing things the hard way. … I ask him questions now [about racing].”

Keselowski asked a question this weekend about what Hendrick team owner Rick Hendrick meant when he said last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway that “[Keselowski] will never be out of reach.”

“Nobody asked him what it meant?” Keselowski said “I’m curious what it meant to him. That’s a very good question. … I don’t know what it does mean, but I can tell you what I think it means. I think it means that he is proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish together and that he would like to do something in the future.

“That’s what I think it means. But words are words. Actions speak much louder.”

In Brad's recent interviews I have not heard him thank the one that gave him the chance to be where he is today. He might be wise to remember where many of his fans have come from. They just might not remain his fans since it seems he has forgotten who gave him a chance to run in good equipment and have a good crew chief to be able to show his talents. He mentions rick often but rick had nothing to do with giving him that first real chance. Look out Brad or your fans just might remember why they where you fan in the first place.

Brad should remember that still waters run deep. He needs to be careful before taking a big leap! A while back in an article, Brad was saying he wanted to be affliated with Henderick in some way in full time cup! He is still young and maybe should really think about all options before signing anything. Don't rush things if you think you are not going to be where you really want to be! I love Brad's driving style and would like to see him do good where ever he ends up at! Good things come to those who wait.

Rick and Dale had the chance to keep him under the Hendrick banner but failed to secure sponsorship. I knew with the problems Rick is having securing sponsorship for the 5 that if Rick found any kind of sponsorship at all it wouldn't be for Brad. It would be for Mark. He doesn't have to thank anyone for making them money. He did them a favor. Its hard to get 25 million for an unproven driver.

The only way Brad could stay with HMS is if Dale sold back Rick his share of JRM and they get AMP and GoDaddy to flip the bill on a promise that Brad could make the Chase. I have seen crazier things over the years happen.

For this person and many more I know, brad does need to remember where he was given a chance to make a name for himself. I don 't think they where lined up for him at the time. I expect him to remember where he got that chance. You Mr. MSP can think whatever you like but I also can think what I like. And I expect a thank you. You do not speak for me nor I for you.

I agree with #3. He needs to remember where he started from. Don't get me wrong, brad is a good driver. But I think he has to remember the person for giving him that chance and all the fans that go with it. I wish him luck but I think he is jumping sides to quickly.

I still think he's not ready for cup.Another year of running a small schedule of cup races would mean alot.

#3, I remember an interview only a short while back (considering the rumors swirling, it was probably within the last 10 days or so) in which Brad made it clear that no matter what happened, he was grateful for what Dale and Rick did for him. Dale's already said that his team is meant to be a stepping stone for unknown drivers to bigger things. If that means that Brad leaves the HMS camp for Penske, Dale sounded pretty okay with that a few days ago. He sounded pretty damn happy for Brad to be getting a full-time Cup ride, no matter what team it was for.

I think he is ready for cup but he should have stayed at JR another year and get to drive cars by HMS.

Dont know what all the fuss is over. Brad doesn't have it and never will...Junior will be better off without him...
