WEST ALLIS, Wis. – Roush Fenway Racing crew chief Eddie Pardue will skip this weekend’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the Milwaukee Mile to be with his ailing daughter, a team spokesperson confirmed.

Pardue’s daughter, Lani, is having problems with her kidneys. It is not considered to be life-threatening for the girl, who turns four on Sunday.

Matt Puccia, a former Roush Fenway crew chief who serves in that role for Yates Racing’s part-time Nationwide team, will replace Pardue this weekend.

Rookie Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is driving the car at Milwaukee.

Wishing your daughter a speedy recovery and hope you have a wonderful Father's Day with lots of good news about her. Ricky did a good job for you, that race had me on the edge of my seat. It was so good to see him up there and also to see some of the other younger guys in the mix.
It was one of the better races this year.
