Roush Fenway Racing posts fastest times in final Nationwide practice

FORT WORTH, Texas - Roush Fenway Racing has the teams to beat in NASCAR Nationwide Series practices this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, posting the three fastest times in the second Friday practice.

Roush Fenway's Carl Edwards posted the fastest speed at 184.200 mph while teammate Matt Kenseth was second at 183.038. The team's other entry, David Ragan, who was quickest in opening practice, was third fastest.

Rounding out the top five were Trevor Bayne (Michael Waltrip Racing) and Mike Bliss (CJM Racing).

Sixth through 10th were Brian Vickers (Braun Racing), Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing), Terry Cook (MSRP Motorsports), Justin Allgaier (Penske Racing) and Kevin Harvick (Kevin Harvick Inc.).

There were no incidents.

Qualifying will be at 6:35 p.m. EST. Saturday's race is slated to begin at 12:45 p.m. EST and will be televised on ESPN2.
