Rick Ware Racing has announced plans to enter two cars in the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2009, with Stanton Barrett, Derrike Cope and rookie Tim Brown sharing driving duties.

The team said Barrett will drive in about 20 races as it enters the No. 31 and No. 41 Chevrolets in the series. Barrett is also competing full time in the Indy Racing League and will attempt to run the Indianapolis 500 and the Nationwide race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on the same weekend in May.

Brown, a seven-time track champion at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C., will make his series debut later this year.

The team also announced that Metal Jeans will sponsor Cope’s No. 41 entry in the upcoming Camping World 300 at Daytona next weekend. Financial terms were not announced.
