FORT WORTH, TexasMichael Waltrip Racing’s David Reutimann paced Thursday’s first and only practice session for Saturday’s Nationwide Series O’Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Reutimann’s best lap of 184.716 mph was followed by Richard Childress Racing’s Clint Bowyer at 183.730 mph and Braun Racing's Brian Vickers at 183.312 mph.

Hall of Fame Racing’s Kyle Busch and Fitz Motorsports' Robby Gordon rounded out the top-five fastest speeds. Rounding out the top 10 were Rusty Wallace Racing's David Stremme, Kevin Harvick Inc.'s Kevin Harvick, JTG Racing's Kelly Bires, Braun's Jason Leffer and JR Motorsports’ Dale Earnhardt Jr. Gillett Evernham MotorsportsKasey Kahne hit the wall and will go to a backup car.

The session was halted a few minutes for rain.

Qualifying for the O’Reilly 300 begins Thursday at 7:05 EDT.
