Phoenix Racing officials say the team will run two cars in the Nationwide Series race in Mexico City on April 20.
General manager Marc Reno said last weekend at Nashville Superspeedway that Ron Fellows will drive the team’s full-time car, the No. 1 Chevrolet, at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. The team recently released Johnny Sauter as full-time driver of the No. 1.
Reno also said Landon Cassill will drive the No. 4 Chevrolet for Phoenix in Mexico. Cassill is a part-time driver for JR Motorsports who wasn’t scheduled to race in Mexico.
