The television rating for the NASCAR Nationwide Series at Gateway International Raceway Saturday was a 1.3, an increase of 18 percent over the 1.1 last year, ESPN announced.
Both races were shown live on ESPN2. The telecast Saturday averaged 1,832,107 viewers, the network reported.
Carl Edwards won the race after a controversial, last-lap skirmish with Brad Keselowski.
