Baker Curb Racing says that Jason Keller’s car will carry logos this weekend at Richmond International Raceway aimed at helping raise awareness of September as National Prostate Cancer Awareness month.
The Nationwide Series car will support Zero - the Project to End Prostate Cancer - through logos for Depend, a product of Keller's sponsor Kimberly-Clark, and the Family Dollar Store. Depend and Family Dollar have committed a $20,000 donation to Zero to benefit the organization’s efforts to end prostate cancer through education and research.
The paint scheme will include a blue ribbon as well as the words “Help End Prostate Cancer” across the hood for the Virginia 529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Speedway on Friday.
Wednesday and Thursday, a replica of the No. 27 entry will visit four Family Dollar stores in Richmond. Keller will make an appearance at the 6508 Hull Street Road location from 3 to 6 p.m. EDT Thursday to participate in a special check presentation, sign autographs, meet with fans and encourage men to learn more about the program.
Information about prostate cancer and the campaign is available at www.Depend.com.
