NASCAR confiscates JR Motorsports shock

INDIANAPOLIS – NASCAR Nationwide Series officials confiscated the left front shock of the third-place JR Motorsports No. 88 car driven by Aric Almirola following the Kroger 200 on Saturday night at O’Reilly Raceway Park.
The left front shock, which failed to rebound, will be evaluated at the NASCAR research and development center in North Carolina, a NASCAR spokesman said.
Any penalties, if forthcoming, would be likely handed out Tuesday or Wednesday.
