NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Trevor Bayne has had four races added to his schedule with Michael Waltrip Racing, a spokesperson said Wednesday.

Bayne was originally scheduled to compete in eight Nationwide races with the No. 99 Toyota team, and the 18-year-old has already completed four of those.

The races added are Chicago on July 10, Michigan on Aug. 15, Atlanta on Sept. 5 and Texas on Nov. 7.

Bayne’s remaining schedule also includes Gateway on July 18, Iowa on Aug. 1, Bristol on Aug. 21 and Phoenix on Nov. 14.

Great to see more up and coming drivers getting an expanded schedule in the Nationwide series. I noticed that Trevor was running his races without sponsorship, so is this a sign that MWR has no sponsorship for their Nationwide car on those dates?

I wonder if Trevor's 4 more races are replacing Michael's races or Scott Speed's races....hmmmmm.
