Kyle Busch celebrates his ninth victory of the season after winning Friday night's Dollar General 300 at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

CONCORD, N.C. – Some drivers questioned Kyle Busch’s starts, but there was nothing wrong with his finishes. Busch roared to his ninth Nationwide Series victory of the season by pulling away from Jeff Burton in the closing laps of the Dollar General 300 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.

The victory was also Busch’s 20th over the three NASCAR national series and the ninth for Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 18 team and 18th for JGR in the Nationwide series overall.

Busch swept the Nationwide races at Charlotte this year, winning in May with Braun Racing.

But it wasn’t without some controversy. After two of the 13 caution periods, there were accidents on restarts, both when Busch brought the field to the starting line slowly. NASCAR declared the restarts legal, however.

Second-place Jeff Burton (Richard Childress Racing) and third-place Brian Vickers (Braun) criticized Busch’s tactics, though Busch said he did nothing wrong.

Busch dominated the race, leading four times for 137 laps – and 137 of the final 147 laps.

Clint Bowyer finished fourth for RCR, keeping his points lead at 196 over Carl Edwards with four races remaining in the season. Driving for Roush Fenway Racing, Edwards finished fifth.

Bowyer’s No. 2 team also took over the owners standings, by one point, over Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 20 team. Joey Logano finished 14th as the No. 20 lost the owners lead for the first time all season.

Kevin Harvick (Kevin Harvick Inc.) finished sixth, followed by Kelly Bires (JTG Daugherty Racing), Brad Keselowski (JR Motorsports), Jamie McMurray (Roush Fenway) and Mike Wallace (Germain Racing).

I watched the entire race. He did do something wrong. On two of the restarts he did brake check. He got away again with being a complete a--. This guy is a complete and utter moron anyone else would have been black flagged. Nascar should have black flagged him. Because of what he did and the way he did it he caused two pileups. I hope somone gives him what he gives others. He is a little boy trying to be a man. He sucks at it.

From what I witnessed at Dover, I'm sadly convinced that NASCAR is letting Gibbs run without the tapered spacer. I'm sorry, but putting four car lengths on the rest of the field in half a turn on restarts (everytime)? Something wasn't right there. Now add the crap NASCAR pulled at Dega with Smith and last night them deeming brake checking legal...I think I'll just stick to the Scene and internet than paying for grandstand tickets and watching races on tv from now on. No point on being a passionate fan when things don't seem to be on the up and up from the sanctioning body.

I like that Gwen he cheatanated. That is cool and you are probably right. By now everyone is saying thwe same thing JGR is cheating somehow and the worse part is they are getting away with it. But the old saying is true what goes around comes around he can not win the title thank god.

Beth You are on the busch bash bandwagon,Some of us non redneck fans are sick of your slanderious comments Kyle brake checked no one,He maintaned 55mph, and started the race as he seen fit. that is one of the perk's as being the leader. So if someone beat's your driver they must be cheating. Why don't you clean your front yard, You may find 6 Lawnmowers under all that trash.
