JOLIET, Ill. – Kevin Harvick has replaced crew chief Wally Rogers with Rick Ren for the Nationwide Series race this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway.
Harvick wouldn’t say what his plans are for his Kevin Harvick Inc. No. 33 team moving forward, but Rogers is not expected to return.
Ren is crew chief for Ron Hornaday in the Craftsman Truck Series, where they won the series title last year.
The No. 33 team is eighth in Nationwide owners standings. Harvick, Cale Gale and Hornaday have split the ride this year.
“We’re just evaluating everything that’s going on,” Harvick said.
